Scraped Car Recycling System

The Scraped Car Recycling System is designed to be automated, intelligent, and resource-efficient.

Scraped Car Recycling System

I. The Significance of Scraped Car Recycling

With over 1.4 billion vehicles on the road globally, more than 10 million cars reach end-of-life annually, making scrapped automobiles one of the fastest-growing waste streams. These discarded vehicles hold immense resource potential—a typical passenger car consists of 75% metal by weight, including 65% steel and 10% aluminum. Studies show that recycling just 1 ton of scrap steel reduces CO₂ emissions by 1.5 tons, delivering major sustainability benefits. However, improper processing not only risks environmental harm but also wastes vast quantities of recoverable metals.

II. WALI Scraped Car Recycling System Introduction

The Wali Scraped Car Recycling System is a high-efficiency processing solution that integrates intelligence, automation, and resource utilization. The system’s core equipment includes double shaft shredder, metal hammer crusher, conveyors, Magnetic separator. Featuring an intelligent control system, the production line achieves fully automated operation.

The system uses an efficient crushing process to reduce automotive waste to an ideal particle size, and combines it with intelligent sorting technologies (such as magnetic separation, eddy current sorting, etc.) to achieve high-precision separation of metals (iron, aluminum, copper, etc.) and non-metals (plastics, rubber, glass), thereby improving recycling purity and resource utilization.

System Introduction

The WALI Scraped Car Recycling System is a highly efficient crushing solution customized based on the actual needs of customers, offering diversified crushing processing technologies.

Process Flow:

I. Primary Shredding with Dual-Shaft Shredder
Material is fed into the dual-shaft shredder via a chain conveyor for initial coarse shredding.

II. Secondary Processing with Metal Hammer Crusher
Pre-shredded metal undergoes secondary treatment in the hammer crusher, which further crushes and compacts the material. Simultaneously, it removes contaminants adhering to metal surfaces and separates different metal types for improved sorting.

III. Magnetic Separation
This equipment efficiently recovers ferrous materials (iron/steel) after hammer crusher processing.

IV. Eddy Current Separation
This system effectively recovers non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminum, etc.).

Processing Capacity: 3-20t/h
